Dr. Allison Delpesche

Treasurer

As the daughter of nurses, it was only natural that Dr. Allison Delpesche followed in her parents’ footsteps and start her medical career as a nurse. Delpesche’s journey began in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Barry University. She immediately began to practice nursing at several local hospitals in the fields of medical surgical and psychiatric nursing. In 2003, she was introduced to substance abuse nursing and decided to shift her focus in nursing to the dynamics of substance abuse influences and relationships. As she continued to web her expertise and deepen her knowledge, she went on to obtain her Master’s Degree of Science and Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2007.

Delpesche continued to work in substance abuse until 2015 when she decided to advance her nursing career even farther and applied to Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Delpesche completed PBA’s program in 2017 with a Master’s of Science in Nursing and 2018 with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice. Dr. Delpesche’s doctoral studies were concentrated on linkage in care for the homeless, which directed her to preventative care for the underserved and disadvantaged.

Dr. Delpesche works in mental health with the elderly. She is currently working with patients to educate and treat patients and families about dementia, mood disorders and psychoses. In her free time Dr. Delpesche enjoys filling every moment with her husband of 12 years, her daughter and her son.
