Shemia Prince is a pillar of the community and strives to empower youth with diverse backgrounds. Her passion for empowering and inspiring youth stems from her childhood adversities, having parents that were affected by substance abuse. Shemia has always been a leader with the ability to take care of business at a very early age. Shemia has fought hard to overcome obstacles and stereotypes. She is currently building a legacy of giving back to youth in similar situations with hopes to inspire them to see that all things are possible through hard work and persistence.

Shemia would like to be remembered as a person that gives back, builds up, motivates, resilient, gives second chances, courageous, etc.. someone who directed her own movie regardless of how the scripts were written!
