Brittany Shabazz, is a native of West Palm Beach Florida where she currently resides with her two boys. She was born number five to a family of seven kids. Life started pretty fast for Brittany, as she was emancipated at fifteen and found herself pregnant at the young age of sixteen. Even though the odds were stacked against her, she still found the will to complete high school and earn her high school diploma from Gold Coast Community School. Gold Coast was a blessing in disguise because the program provided onsite daycare which allowed young mothers to bring their babies to school so they could continue their education. Life was anything but easy. Her focus and main goal was to take care of her responsibilities by keeping a steady job to provide for her son. Like most teenagers Brittany looked for love in all the wrong places. Before long she had reached her early twenties, found herself relocating to a new town due to domestic violence; starting a new life as a single mom of two boys. She began working a new job as a Lead Tech in a high level program for all girls.

Growing up her mom always said “You don’t have to look like what you’re going through” and Brittany took those words to heart! She may not have had the best childhood or made the all the right choices coming up, but she knew all of her trials and tribulations were only stepping stones.

Brittany is now a Board Certified Cosmetologist, specializing in haircare & hair loss resolutions. Supporting women with hair solutions from all forms of alopecia i.e. Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia(CCCA) and Traction Alopecia. Brittany also carries the title of a traveling makeup artist under her belt. She has been blessed to travel to several locations, domestic and international within her career being offered to do makeup for models in Fashion Week in NY. When she’s not traveling, she is stationary providing her expert service in her private salon “Blazin Beauty’z” located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Brittany tends to live by the famous quote “It is in your hands to create a better world for you and all who live in it”. ~Nelson Mandela~…which introduces “Blazin Crown’z” to the world, and fully expresses her thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and acknowledges who she really is.
